Brown Aveda Grad Takes Grand Prize in The Third Annual Hairbrained | Sassoon Academy Cell Phone Shoot-Out
On October 11th, competitors snapped a photo on their cell phone of their favorite look, cut and color, and the HairBrained community got to vote on their favorite style.
2010 Brown Aveda graduate Eliot Standen was voted the Grand Prize winner for his submission in the 48 hour competition.
This is the second consecutive year that a Brown Aveda Alumni has won this contest. Last year's winner was 2009 Brown Aveda graduate Sal Misseri.
As Grand Prize Winner, Eliot will be awarded the following:
- Admission to the renowned Sassoon Academy Masterclass with International Creative Director, Mark Hayes ($250 value) in Santa Monica on November 10th. Winner will be one of the first in the US to see the brand NEW Autumn Winter 2013 Academy Collection, The Dandies
- $600 travel voucher to apply towards a flight and/or hotel in Santa Monica
- Behind the scenes access to the Masterclass prep day - winner will get to shadow Mark Hayes, North American Creative Director, Traci Sakosits, North American Color Director, Richie Rivera and the rest of the Sassoon Academy team.
