a prom to remember offers teens with cancer the opportunity to celebrate their own special night on March 28
In support of this special event, Brown Aveda Institutes in Mentor and Rocky River are hosting a Dress Drive to accept donations for prom dresses, jewelry, shoes, clutches, etc. (A Prom to Remember also accepts monetary donations on their website).
If you have any items that you would like to donate, please drop off to either school by January 31, 2015.
Leading up to their prom, program organizers will host a Dress Extravaganza on February 27 and 28, at Beaumont School in Cleveland Hts., where female prom attendees will have the opportunity to choose a free gown from hundreds of donated styles. Girls can bring their mothers or other close friends to help select their favorite frock from more than 700 donated dresses.
Brown Aveda will proudly be attending and offering mini spa services throughout the event. Each girl also will receive a shoe gift card.
