The Spa Coordinator oversees the day to day operations of the spa by assisting clients and assisting spa technicians
Essential Functions:
- Receives spa guests, issues lockers, towels, sandals, robes, and ties that fit the needs of the client
- Explain to guests how to get prepared for their scheduled service
- Books appointments for future spa needs
- Tracks client flow throughout the spa and maintain clear communication with each technician regarding client flow and/or any changes in their appointment schedule
- Refill professional product used in the spa as requested and necessary
- Obtains and serves refreshments to guests as requested
- Collect soiled linens (including sheets, blankets, towels, robes, etc.) as necessary and place in the appropriate receptacles
- Folds and stores laundry as necessary
- Change bed and clean rooms before and after each service and assists Spa Technicians with room set-up
- General cleaning to maintain state board safety and sanitary regulations
- Keeps the spa areas spotless at all times during shift
- Order/ pick up spa lunches and/or breakfasts as necessary
- Perform all opening, closing, and daily procedures as listed on the current daily procedure checklist
- Communicate with spa manager/supervisor any/all relevant information
- Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
- High school graduate
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge and use of excellent customer service techniques.
- Esthetic or Cosmetology License (Issued through the State Board) or Massage Therapy License (Issued through State Medical Board)
