2017 Brown Aveda Graduate and Stylist
Just under two years since graduation, and Emily Eneix has not only worked alongside prominent industry names at Aveda Jam, but recently collaborated with other grads to showcase her talents at RAW Cleveland presents Connect.
Over fifty emerging artists were featured at RAW's event on September 11, attracting over five hundred guests to experience the music, photography, fashion, and other inventive art.
With a passion for makeup, Emily was thrilled to collaborate with Monica Clark and Bayley Brown on an exquisite hair, makeup, and body art trifecta perfect for the festival's underground style.
Just in time to celebrate her first anniversary at Ladies and Gentlemen Salon and Spa in Legacy Village, we checked in with Emily to ask her about her success.
Why do you love what you do?
I love helping people and making them feel and look their best. I'm always following trends and teaching others how to do the same; I just have such a passion for communicating with my clients. I really love people, and it's an added bonus that I get to make them feel really beautiful at the end of the day.
How did your Aveda experience impact where you are now?
Aveda Institute definitely influenced my career. Going to Brown Aveda has taught me and pushed me, and everybody always rooted me on, all the way through school and even now. Having those strong people behind me and pushing me to keep growing and further myself has helped me do the same for others as well.
Do you have any advice for aspiring artists?
My best advice is to work hard, never give up, and it's all going to pay off in the end!
